Insulated Glass
Double or triple glass panes which are separated by an air or gas space that help to keep the heat in a building. Insulated glass is produced by taking glass’s thickness into consideration. A typical sheet of insulated glass uses the base glass with thickness ranging anywhere from 3 mm to 11 mm. Insulated glass can also be produced from tempered glass. A standard insulated glass contains glass layers of same thickness, but special requirements such as security and sound-proof may require various thicknesses for the unit
